Japan's New Toyota Taxi To Incorporate London Taxi Styling.

Toyota will show its JPN Taxi concept for the first time at the Tokyo motor show next month.
Intended to show the company's vision for the next generation of Japanese Taxis, the concept is designed for five-passengers. Power in the JPN Taxi comes from a hybrid LPG powertrain. The firm says it has incorporated design elements from the London Taxi into its styling.

Toyota also says the JPN-Taxi conforms fully to the Japanese regulations for user-friendly public service vehicles.

The company will also show two new seven-seat MPV concepts, dubbed Voxy and Noah. Toyota has yet to reveal specific details about the models, including powertrain and pricing, but both cars are due to launch in early 2014.

The  interia of "Toyota JPN Taxi Concept" at present, looks to be unsuitable for use as a London Taxi, The body shape appears to be more like a traditional Taxi like than any other replacement Taxi vehicle on the market, plus it comes with an almost zero emission "hybrid LPG power-train". This technology is tried and tested.
