Dear all, 

Just to let you know that I am leaving Manchester Council as part of the Councils Voluntary Early Retirement/ Voluntary Severance scheme. 

Over the last few years we've had many discussions regarding taxi related issues and whilst we may not always have reached a common view, your debates, conversations and emails have often prompted new lines of enquiry.

Recent years' case law and potential new legislation poses many challenges and opportunities for both the taxi trade and local authorities, i hope that Manchesters taxi trade thrives on whatever the future may bring.
