LONDON

A private hire vehicle and taxi service designed specifically for SMEs has been launched.

OT-24 is a fully-managed service linked to the largest network of for-hire vehicles in the UK.

This allows small businesses to negotiate pricing and enables businesses to reserve the category of vehicle and help deliver a “corporate-level service to SMEs”.

The service is currently only available to businesses in the M25 area but there are plans to continue to extend it across the UK.

OT-24 said it “eliminates” the need for SMEs to hire additional admin staff by managing vehicle hire from online and mobile booking through to invoicing and reporting.

Businesses receive a single, itemised invoice and management reports each month, so they can track, manage and pay their travel expenses.

The monthly management report analyses average journey costs, mileage, CO2 emissions and waiting times, charting them month by month, to provide a yearly overview.

“We’ve launched OT-24 to fill a gap in the transport market; a fully transparent, managed service aimed at SMEs,” said director of OT-24, Roy Hughes.

“We’ve combined our 60+ years of experience and knowledge of the industry with our network of reliable, localised private hire and black cab companies to develop a ground transport service with customer service at its core that SMEs can trust with their most valuable clients.”
